4-27-2017 Accident / larceny / traffic offenses

4-25-2017

On 4-25-17 Officers responded to a traffic accident on Boylston St.  No injuries were reported and 1 vehicle was towed from the scene. The weather during the crash was heavy rain making visibility limited.

4-26-2017

On 4/26/17 Officers were conducting traffic enforcement near Washington St/ School St. when they observed a vehicle fail to stop at the red light. The Officer activated the cruisers emergency blue lights and conducted a traffic stop. A license check of the driver revealed that her license was active but the vehicle’s insurance status was revoked. The driver was issued Massachusetts Uniform Citation for Revoked Insurance and Red Light violation. The vehicle was towed.

On 4/26/17 Officers responded to an address on Hallwood Rd for a past larceny report. The victim reports having two large bags containing numerous hand tools were stolen from his construction site. The victim will submit a full list of items stolen. Detectives will continue the investigation.

On Wednesday 04-26-2017 Officers made a traffic stop for an expired inspection sticker on Commonwealth Ave. A license check on the driver revealed she had a suspended license. During the traffic stop it was discovered that the operator was in possession of prescription pills not prescribed to her. The vehicle was towed and the operator was summoned to Brookline court for Operating a Motor Vehicle After Suspension (90/23) and Possession Class E Drug (3 counts) (94C/32F) for holding three prescription drugs without a valid prescription.  The vehicle was turned over to a licensed operator.
