Police Reports 5/30-5/31

Not Duly Licensed: 5/30 at 4:12 PM- Comm Ave. / Essex St.

An officer observed a vehicle pass through a red traffic light. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Commonwealth Ave at the intersection of Essex Street. A query revealed that the driver did not have a valid license and he was placed under arrest for Not Duly Licensed.

Sector 1

Arrest: 5/30 at 10:49 PM- Egmont St.

An individual was placed under arrest for two warrants out of Charlestown District Court.

Larceny: 5/19- Green St.

An individual reported the larceny of several items from a basement storage unit in the area of Green St. Video surveillance indicated that the incident took place on 5/19.

Sector 2

Operating after Revocation: 5/30 at 6:22 PM- Longwood Ave. / Sewall Ave.

An officer observed a vehicle fail to yield to oncoming traffic and fail to stop for pedestrians in a marked crosswalk. The officer initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Longwood Ave. and Sewall Ave. A query revealed that the driver had a revoked license and he was placed under arrest for Operating after Revocation.

Motorized Scooter Theft:  5/30 between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM- Village Way

An individual reported the larceny of a motorized scooter. The victim stated that she secured her scooter in the area of Village Way on 5/30 at approzimately 11:00 AM on 5/30. When she returned she discovered that her scooter had been removed.

Not Duly Licensed: 5/31 at 12:48 AM- Washington St.

An officer observed a vehicle traveling without functioning tail lights. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Washington St. A query revealed that the driver did not have a valid license and he was placed under arrest for Not Duly Licensed.

Sector 4

B&E MV: 5/31 at 2:14 PM- Hawthorn Rd.

An individual reported the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that sometime between 5/30 and 5/31, unknown suspect(s) entered his unlocked vehicle and stole loose change.
