January 26th

Arrest

  • Occurred 11:06AM (1/26) – 655 Washington St.

Police executed a traffic stop for a traffic violation. Upon a check of the driver’s information, it was discovered that he had a suspended/non-renewable license. The driver was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with an expired license.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 7:05PM (1/25) and 6:30AM (1/26) – 471 Harvard St.

Police responded to a report of a burglary. The victim stated that when he returned to open up his business in the morning, he found his front glass door had been shattered. The cash drawer for the business was reported to be missing. Police are following up on the case.

Graffiti

  • Occurred between 10:54AM (1/5) and 10:54AM (1/26) – 1527 Beacon St.

Police responded to a report of graffiti on the side of a building. Upon arrival, officers met with the building’s superintendent who proceeded to show the officers two different tags. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 1:00AM (1/25) and 2:30AM (1/26) – 29 Gorham Ave.

Police responded to a report of larceny. The victim’s son stated when he arrived home, after being gone for a night, he discovered that the wheels on his mother’s vehicle had been stolen. Police are following up on the case.

  • Occurred between 12:00PM (1/8) and 5:30PM (1/26) – Village Way

Victim reported that his laptop computer and cell phone were stolen. The last time the property was in his possession was at a friend’s apartment, but it was left there for several days. The friend admitted it was likely that numerous people were inside his apartment during this time. Police are following up on the case.
