October 5th Police Reports

Arrest

  • Occurred between 5:11AM and 6:43AM (10/05)-Cleveland Road/ Eliot Street

Dillon Diel, 18 yrs, was arrested and charged with Disturbing the Peace, Resisting Arrest, Possession of Burglarious Tools, and Malicious Damage.

Police on patrol noticed a vehicle parked blocking the flow of traffic. Upon stopping the operator and attempting to speak with him, the vehicle sped off; police located the vehicle a short distance away and discovered its passenger hiding in the woods. He was subsequently apprehended. Inside the abandoned vehicle police found multiple burglarious tools.

Motor Vehicle Theft

  • Occurred between 11:30PM and 7:30AM (10/05) - 160 Fairway Road

Victim reports that sometime overnight her vehicle was stolen from her driveway. The cost of the vehicle is approximately $4300.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 9AM and 10:13AM (10/05) - 39 Kent Street

Victim reports finding her drivers window smashed and her GPS navigation system valued at approximately $1000 missing from the vehicle.

  • Occurred between 6AM and 12:32PM (10/05)-Brookline Ave/ Francis

Police on patrol noticed several vehicles with smashed windows, after contacting the owners it was learned that a GPS navigation system valued at $80 was taken from the dashboard.

  • Occurred between 12PM (10/04) and 2:24Pm (10/05) - 17 Walnut Hill Road

Victim reported that sometime over the last few days her license plate had been stolen from her vehicle.

Occurred between 2PM (10/04) and 1PM (10/05) - 12 Davis Ct

Victim reported that sometime overnight her unlocked bicycle had been stolen from her front porch. The bike is described as a blue mountain bike with a white plastic child seat attached to the rear. The value of the bike is approximately $400.
